Mossy Creek MS FBLA has chosen to volunteer monthly during this 2017-2018 school year at the Houston County Humane Society. Students and their advisor Mrs. Robin Fobbus visit one Saturday a month for 3 hours in the morning to help with cleaning cages, washing bowls, washing towels and blankets, mopping, walking, holding and playing with dogs and cats. This service helps the regular volunteers and the animals. This experience has taught students how to give to their community and take pride in what they are contributing. Mossy Creek MS FBLA also sells hat passes at school on Fridays to raise money to donate to the Humane Society. The list of students who ask to participate is never ending and we hope to continue this service for many years to come. Thank you to the Humane Society and to the parents of the MCMS students who support our volunteer efforts.
