My name is Katie Ellison and I am entering my 30th year in education. I received my undergraduate and graduate degrees in special education and interrelated special education from Georgia College and State University. I also received my Specialist degree from Valdosta State University. I have been a special education and general education teacher. I have also served as a graduation coach, academic coach, and assistant principal throughout my career. My education journey began in Knoxville, Tennesse and has allowed me to work in Pulaski County, Houston County, Bibb County, and Peach County School Systems. I was previously a part of the amazing faculties at Huntington Middle and Feagin Mill Middle schools and am excited to be joining the Mossy Creek Middle School faculty.
