Bio
Raised in Warner Robins, I graduated from Northside High School in 1992. I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Wesleyan College in 1996. I started my teaching career at Houston County High School where I taught for five years. While teaching at HOCO, I worked on continuing my education receiving my gifted certification and a Master's Degree in Leadership. I have been happily married to my husband, Kenny, for 26 years. Our son, William, is a finance major at Kennesaw State University. Our daughter, Leyton, is a biomedical engineering major at Georgia Tech. I have had the privilege of teaching at Mossy Creek Middle School since 2014. Educating students is my passion and joy. I highly value STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) education because I want my students to understand how to apply their math knowledge. I enjoy serving as an FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) Sponsor. These are a few of my favorite things: great adventures/traveling, reading, puzzles, coffee, shopping, the beach.
