Bio

Welcome to 6th grade! I am so excited to have you in my class. It is going to be a wonderful but a different looking year! We will laugh and learn together! Here is a little about me: I am a boys' mom! I have two sons. My oldest son will be going to college this fall to play baseball and major in Sports Medicine. My youngest son is an upcoming 5th grader.  My husband and I are also the proud parents of a fur baby (a Cocker Spaniel) name Trinidad. In college, I majored in Psychology and graduated from Fort Valley State University. I continued my educational path and obtained my Master's Degree in Rehabilitation Psychology. I then learned through an internship that I really loved working with kids so I decided to return to college to get my teaching degree. I attended Georgia College and State University where I received my teaching degree. This is my 19th year teaching. I taught 13 years in elementary and this is my 6th year teaching middle school. This year will present different challenges but if we ALL work together we can overcome anything!
