Bio
I am so excited to be a part of the Mossy Creek Middle family! I have been teaching for 17 years and am happy to be starting my 17th year of teaching here with all of our children at Mossy Creek. I have a Bachelors of Arts from Morehead State University in English and a Masters of Secondary Education from Piedmont State University. I began my career in education as a paraprofessional and have worked in elementary and middle school, and high school. I am a native Georgian and grew up in rural south Georgia. I am the youngest of 8 children and am the first in my family to graduate from college. My husband and I will celebrate twenty-three years of marriage. I enjoy volunteering at church and spending time with my family. I look forward to another great year at Mossy Creek Middle!
